Chapter 2
1. Ocean tides
- Measure the Tide height & what moon phase it is
- The tide is directly influenced by the moon
- You can measure the tide 4 times a day; Low tide, high tide, and the in-between, for one whole moon cycle
- You can take a picture of the moon to illustrate the moon phase then layer a graph of the daily tide over it and show it over one full cycle of the moon phases
Seasons
- Measure the range of color and the time of the year
- Take a picture of a tree once a week for a year
- Composite them together in a slideshow/movie to show the change of the seasons and color over the course of a year
Weather
- Measure the average tempature compared to the look of the sky
- Take the average temperature over the week. Take the tempature at the same time during the day
- Take a picture at the same time measure you the temperature
- composite one week of picutres on top of each another to create a mesh of images
- compare the different weeks to the change of the time/seasons over the year
Chapter 3
1. Vector graphics
- Can be sized without distortion
- Are easy to change the color and shape of the objects
- Vector graphics are most globally used for company names and logos in standard .eps files
2. A, B, C, D, E, H – Vector | F, G, I, J- Bitmap
-Anything with clear, defined lines and simple shapes are better to do in vector graphic
3. Easier to organize & select groups of objects quickly and arrange the layering and order of objects in the space (on top of each other)
